Start with the tank’s function
Describe the machine in which the component will be installed and the role it needs to fulfil. Useful information includes the intended liquid, approximate capacity, mounting position and known operating conditions.
Also explain what prompted your search: a new machine model, a component redesign or the consideration of a different manufacturing partner.

Identify the machine’s constraints
A tank needs to be considered alongside the parts around it. Outline the available space, fixing points and planned connections, specifying which elements are already defined and which can still change.
Distinguish essential requirements from design preferences. Material, compatibility with the contents, documentation requirements and any testing need to be assessed for the specific project.

Clarify the project stage and expected demand

Does “custom” mean that any project can be manufactured?
No. It means starting from the requirements of the tank intended for your machine. Feasibility and suitability need to be assessed for the actual project.
Can I contact you if some details are still undecided?
Yes. State what you know and identify the information still to be defined, so that the project stage is clear.
Is an existing mould enough to confirm production?
Having a mould is a starting point. Information about the component, tooling and expected demand is also needed before assessing how to proceed.
