A company that already owns a mould must clarify ownership, location, the existing part, material, quantities and the objective of the transfer. A company developing a new product starts instead with the function, requirements, volumes and project maturity.
Separating the two pathways avoids generic enquiries and helps identify missing information at an early stage.
Assessment precedes the quotation
Timing, costs and capacity cannot be committed on the basis of a general description alone. The first useful outcome is to determine whether there may be a technical fit and which further investigation is required.
Controlled technical exchange
Drawings, photographs and confidential documents are not required in the initial enquiry. They may be shared later, if useful, through an agreed channel and within an agreed scope.
