Material and process are two separate decisions
A product can be manufactured in polyethylene using different technologies. Rotational moulding is considered when the shape, function, quantities and industrialisation pathway indicate a potential fit with the process.
Even for similar applications, geometries, loads and requirements may lead to different choices. The initial discussion is intended to avoid automatic assumptions of equivalence.
